At Colgate-Palmolive, we offer an exceptional Internship Program within our Global Information Technology (GIT) organization. This Fall internship is a paid hybrid program, starting in September as part-time with opportunity to extend if eligible.
Join our GIT team to help lead strategic transformation projects, shaping critical programs with innovative strategies and robust frameworks. This internship offers collaboration with cross-functional IT teams and Senior IT Leadership. You'll also drive project management for GIT initiatives, championing continuous improvement and making a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in developing project roadmaps (i.e. timelines, milestones, and deliverables) and ensure alignment of strategic goals with IT initiatives
+ Contribute to establishing governance frameworks and clearly defining roles and responsibilities within the program
+ Help monitor project progress, track performance, and support reporting of updates to stakeholders
+ Assist in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to address challenges
+ Serve as a point of communication to facilitate collaboration among project teams and stakeholders
+ Participate in evaluating project performance, documenting lessons learned, and suggesting opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
+ Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at a college or university with a graduation date of or later than December 2025
+ Majoring in Project Management, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
+ Documentation of authorization to work in the United States, not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
+ A minimum GPA of 2.8
+ Must have experience with Program/Project Management
+ Communicates effectively with a positive, professional manner and the ability to adapt to change
+ Previous experience with process mapping and conflict resolution is a plus
+ Must be available to work come into our Piscataway, NJ office location throughout the entire internship
+ This position requires a 3-month commitment (September-December)
+ Must be available to work 15 hours/week during the fall semester
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $23.00 - $32.50 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
