    The Senior Manager of Medicare Strategy and Business Planning will report to the Vice-President of Medicare Strategy and oversee critical business reporting and data analysis functions that support the Government Segment business goals. The role will act as business and analytic lead for the monthly Medicare Business Review and annual open enrollment reporting and manage annual deliverables for the Government Segment Strategic plan and corporate portfolio project submission. The role will conduct analysis of multiple financial, enrollment, trend, and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement or variance from expected outcomes. The senior manager will create multiple presentations on the status of the Government Segment Strategy and other presentations on supporting materials related to overall Segment goals.

    Your Day to Day :

    + Collaborate with fellow business areas to create monthly business review report that displays the key metrics of BCBSMA’s Medicare Advantage business

    + Design and develop metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive key business and product decisions

    + Prepare and present monthly product enrollment reports and analysis at Medicare marketing, sales, and strategy meetings for discussion on trends, actions, and strategies to meet product goals.

    + Work cross functionally with other business leaders to investigate trends in key all Government product areas including enrollment, financial, provider, and medical/pharmacy expense to suggest business improvements and efficiencies

    + Lead Medicare provider strategy workgroup by working with cross functional leaders to identify topics, reports, and ideas vital to meet segment goals.

    + Create and present monthly report on Medicare enrollment and market share changes with BCBSMA and competition.

    + Represent Government Programs on internal workgroups and committees focused on strategy development, segment reporting, and segment dashboards

    + Work with internal business leaders to create Government Segment corporate portfolio initiative dashboard reporting content is updated and accurate.

    + Create and maintain biannual update of competitive provider network analysis

    We’re Looking for :

    + Experience in Government Programs, Medicare Advantage Preferred

    + Ability to develop strong working relationships and to influence key internal constituents to

    + Documented strength in developing materials and deliverables through cross functional collaboration in a highly and matrixed organization.

    + Proven track record of meeting timelines, deliverables, attention to detail and quality results

    + Strong organizational skills with ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize workload

    + Ability to identify, communicate, and manage risk

    + Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, facilitation, project management and planning skills

    What You Bring :

    + Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience preferred

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

    Salary Range: $109,080.00 - $133,320.00

     

    The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

     

    This job is also eligible for variable pay.
