Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. This position involves programming with Cimatron and Powermill offline, working with Haas controls on CNC mills, and contributing to value-add machining on parts made through metal injection molding. This is a 2nd-shift position with a work schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, offering overtime opportunities on Fridays.
Responsibilities
+ Program new runs using Cimatron and Powermill software and prove out programs by running the first part.
+ Support the production floor with programming expertise.
+ Conduct offline programming using specified software brands.
+ Work with Haas controls on machining centers.
+ Perform value-add machining such as milling holes or reducing material on injection-molded parts.
+ Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Essential Skills
+ At least 5 years of recent experience in CNC programming using CAD software.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with programming new runs and proving out programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with EDM work is advantageous.
+ Knowledge of the software and control brands used in offline and machine programming.
+ Understanding of the types of parts programmed and their applications.

Work Environment
Work in a comfortable air-conditioned plant equipped with 9 injection mold machines, 2 Haas mills, a grinder, and an EDM machine. Enjoy a culture of collaboration and innovation, with regular mold changes and setup tasks handled by process technicians. This is a Permanent position based out of PORT HURON, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Company -
Britt is a small metal injection molding operation. They create high profit margin parts for the medical, defense, aerospace, and various non automotive industries.
They have a very cohesive team that works well together and collaborates form department heads all the way down to production employees.
Britt does all of their own mold builds and maintenance.
Metal injection molding is extremely similar to plastic injection molding, so Britt has to recruit from that industry, as the closes MIM shops are in Wisconsin and southern Ohio.
Environment=
Air conditioned plant-
There are 9 injection mold machines. There do about 4-6 start ups per day. This entail mold changes and resetting and calibrating of the presses by the process techs.
There at 2 Haas mills, 1 grinder and 1 edm
THEY JUST added 3 more Hass machining centers (Mills) due to influx of work.
