    Millersburg, PA Site / Single Use Division

    Discover Impactful Work:

    As an Industrial Engineer for our site, you will be engineering projects and supporting manufacturing operations. In this role, you will partner with the business to enhance current processes and develop new methods with the goal of growing efficiency, quality, and productivity.

     

    A day in the Life:

    + **Shop Floor Observation:** Conduct time studies and analyze workflow patterns.

    + **Teamwork:** Work with machine operators and supervisors to gather insights.

    + **Identify Inefficiencies:** Pinpoint bottlenecks and disruptions.

    + **Data Analysis:** Use statistical tools to validate observations and quantify improvements.

    + **Implementation:** Conduct small-scale trials and monitor impact on the shop floor.

    + **Troubleshooting:** Make real-time adjustments to ensure smooth integration.

    + **Documentation:** Update project timelines and advise collaborators of progress.

    Keys to Success:

    Education

    + Bachelor of Science in Engineering or science related field

    Experience

    + 2+ years of experience in operations or engineering

    + Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement activities

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization.

    + Able to drive strategic thinking and continuous improvement in both non-operational and operational areas, including connecting the cross-functional resources to remove waste along the extended value streams.

    + Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Miro/Visio, PowerPoint and Minitab (or another related statistics program).

    Physical Requirements / Work Environment

    + Work in a controlled manufacturing environment; is required to lift 25 lbs. repetitively and may be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.

    + Able to work safely with materials and equipment and gowning at various levels.
