    CTG is seeking to fill a Site Reliability Engineer II opening for our client in Frisco, TX.

     

    **Location:** Frisco, TX

    **Duration:** 11 months

    Duties:

    + Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems.

    + Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to build and deploy automation tools for system health, availability, and performance.

    + Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure updates.

    + Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to postmortems and reliability improvements.

    + Support systems through capacity planning, monitoring, and on-call rotations.

    + Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.

    Skills:

    + Proficiency with Linux/Unix-based systems and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.

    + Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

    + Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

    + Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).

    + Understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).

    + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

    Experience:

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related fields.

    + Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices.

    + Experience working in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
