    How You'll Create Possibilities

     

    Develop and maintain software and Android applications for mobile devices and the next generation of high-end, consumer friendly home appliances. Work with platform leaders, product line design teams, industrial designers, and web teams in an Agile development environment to design and architect new feature-rich and full end-to-end applications for the Android platform for smart home appliance solutions. Apply responsive application design principals to analyze Android lifecycles using LiveData and Observer classes to create MVVM development patterns. Ensure adherence to the software development process and production of related documentation. Develop detailed design and test specifications. Enhance existing application features. Improve processes and procedures. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Interface with the global software development team and engage in implementing simulators, software analysis tools, and automation testing.

     

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic(s) Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field

    + 7 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in a related occupation

    + 7 years of experience with Android application development;

    + 4 years of experience with the Android operating system, AOSP (Android Open Source Project), and Android frameworks (HIDL drivers, Android interfaces, and System UI);

    + 4 years of experience with Agile, Java, Dart, TDD, GIT, and Continuous Integration; and

    + 3 years of experience with Android OS display integration development

     

    Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at 4000 Buechel Bank Road, Louisville, KY 40225.
