Sr Eclipse Developer

Summary

Design, document, and develop complex enterprise solutions based on business requirements. Work with IT application owners to identify requirements to satisfy business needs. Conduct technical evaluations and perform cost/benefit analysis. Maintain current knowledge of technology and continually evaluate its impact on company objectives and deployed systems. Design technology solutions and goals for specific projects and/or application areas including but not limited to the Rexel Data Warehouse, Oracle Applications, and Financial Applications. Facilitate solution design discussions and designs applications with focus on reducing total cost of ownership. Participate as member of project team to ensure optimal design solution is understood and adopted. Understand and maintain security measures and configurations with current standards, practices, and technology included but not limited to PCI and sensitive data protection. Represent project teams at architecture and security review boards and assist in securing required approvals. Assist with establishment and refinement of technical standards and hardware standards. Assist with software, hardware, and project approvals. Responsible for timely implementation of technology projects. Assist with IT cost control and actively look for opportunities to control spending.

**Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study and 5 years of progressive Software Development experience designing and implementing technical solutions aligned with business strategy.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

+ Epicor Eclipse Pick application development.

+ J2EE technology, Java, UniVerse/U2 databases, Scripting, Rest Web Services, Shell scripting, and SQL.

+ working in a customer focused environment.

+ engaging with customers to identify business needs and reporting gathered information to a development team.

+ communicating with internal and external teams.

+ project management and prioritizing work across multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

+ working with IT application owners and leaders to communicate, share and implement best practices.

+ trouble shooting issues, problem resolution, and technology evaluation to meet business requirements.

+ data modeling and application design documentation.

+ ZPL, JSON, XML, .NET, Eclipse Forms Designer, and TCL.
