We invite you to become part of Connecticut’s most comprehensive healthcare network. *Overview* *Location: Hall High School, West Hartford, CT* We are seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to deliver athletic training services in accordance with NATA guidelines and practices (National Athletic Trainers’ Association), ensuring the health and well-being of all student-athletes. Open to licensed new graduates seeking an exciting opportunity to cover sporting events, practices and games with the school and surrounding community. This role will have scheduled hours on nights, weekends, and holidays. *Responsibilities* * Provide athletic training services under standing orders and at the direction of the Athletic Director and/or Team Physician(s) for an assigned school’s athletic department. * Assist the Sports Medicine staff with prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athlete injuries. * Attend assigned team practices and sporting events, including travel to sporting events and competitions across the state of Connecticut. * Maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and comply with all school, NATA, and Conference guidelines and regulations. * Bachelor’s or Master's Degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program. * Current NATA BOC Certification. * State of Connecticut Athletic Training License. * CPR with AED for professional rescuer with first aid. * Evening, weekend, and some holiday hours may be required. * _Preferred Qualifications_: Previous athletic training experience, CSCS certification, CPR instructor certification, FMS or SFMA certification.
