The IAM Application Manager plays a vital role in the Enterprise Engineering Identity and Access Management (EE IAM) team, responsible for managing the lifecycle of complex applications, ensuring seamless identity and access management solutions, and proven track record of success. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaboration to deliver high-quality results.

Application Manager, Identity and Access Management Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex applications
2. Ensure alignment with business objectives, industry trends, and emerging technologies
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
4. Develop and implement application roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in identity and access management
7. Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning
8. Lead technical workshops and training sessions to enhance team capabilities
9. Work closely with engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to ensure that identity and access management solutions meet the needs of Meta's workforce
10. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design documents, and user guides
11. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
12. Capacity to foster relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution
13. Develop and implement processes to improve incident response and resolution times
14. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
15. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to ensure they remain effective and efficient
Minimum Qualifications:

16. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
17. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
18. 8+ years of experience in the Identity and Access Management field
19. Proven experience in managing complex IAM deployments, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
20. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Rust
21. Experience with identity and access management solutions, such as Sailpoint, Okta, Azure AD, etc
22. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
23. Demonstrated experience of cloud-based infrastructure and security
24. Proven track record of effective communication and collaboration, with the ability to build relationships and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
25. Demonstrated experience with problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
26. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
27. Demonstrated experience leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members

29. Experience with cloud-based identity and access management solutions, such as AWS IAM or Google Cloud IAM
30. Certification in security, such as CISSP
Public Compensation:
$166,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
