Position: Software Engineer Duration: 12 Months plus Location: Hybrid - Dallas, TX Job Description: The organisation is moving toward a service-oriented, automated architecture with a focus on scalability and developer experience. As systems grow more complex, there's a need to abstract functionality behind clean, consumer-friendly APIs-reducing cognitive load and enabling faster, more autonomous delivery across teams. Most of our systems are written in C# or Python, but we also have Go and Java. We utilise modern web, distributed and big data technologies, which means we have a broad range of software engineering challenges for the right person. Key responsibilities of the role include: * Focus is on experience and passion for systems integration enabling end to end platform solutions * Designing and building solutions that drive value for our petabyte-scale data platform * Continuously exploring and developing solutions to improve data and compute throughput at scale * Demonstrating software engineering best practices * Strong programming skills in C# and strong experience with typescript and TFE ideal Skills Primary languages: C#, Python Additional technologies: Go, Java Other tools: TypeScript, TFE (likely Terraform Enterprise) Front End - React & Type Script Database - MySQL/POSTGRES
