The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented **Senior Computing Architect** to join the team in **San Diego, CA; Long Beach, CA; or Seal Beach, CA.**
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer/Database Administrator (DBA) with experience working in a team environment supporting applications that follow-the-sun with a user base of 800+.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex application questions and problems
+ Troubleshoots production issues and provides on-going support
+ Overlooks system requirements and enhancements, scenarios, testing, integration tasks and analysis
+ Communicates with business units and authoring groups
+ Communicates effectively across the entire team, adapt quickly to changing requirements and have a strong customer focus
+ Executes unit test cases to ensure maximum code coverage
+ Works across time zones with a geographically dispersed team of developers
+ Ensures Information Technology (IT) systems and processes follow enterprise standards and are secure to enable efficient and effective operations
+ Provides end-to-end technical solution leadership and business process alignment through the sustainment of the applications
+ Supports software development in all aspects of database requirements
+ Understands Data Retention policies
+ Works with a solid foundation in relational databases
+ Deploys database instances to different environments
+ Understands Data Architecture
+ Works with Temporal Tables
+ Works with transaction serialization
+ Understands Java Database Connectivitys (JDBC)
+ Invokes Java stored procedures
+ Develops and modifies stored procedures and triggers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ 10+ years of experience with authoring or publishing systems
+ 10+ years of experience with DevSecOps (examples ansible, chef, cyber applications)
+ Experience with Software Development projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ Experience with HPE NonStop
+ Experience with Guardian
+ Experience with OSS (POSIX)
+ Experience with Linux
+ Experience with SQLMX and SQLMP
+ Experience with RDBMS
+ Experience with Java, C/C++, Shell programming, and Python
+ Experience with Object Oriented Language
+ Experience with Temporal Tables

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $153,000 - $207,000
