Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Western Wisconsin. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial operations, provide strategic insights, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across functions, drive impactful financial decisions, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage monthly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with accounting principles.

• Develop and present detailed financial analyses to connect operational performance with financial outcomes, fostering informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business strategies and provide financial expertise to support organizational goals.

• Oversee and enforce adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and governance policies to maintain financial integrity.

• Conduct customer profitability assessments and support pricing strategies to enhance revenue growth.

• Create and manage financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term strategic plans to optimize company performance.

• Analyze capital investment opportunities and provide recommendations to maximize returns.

• Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and drive organizational success.

• Prepare comprehensive business reports and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across various management levels.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and auditing.

• Strong expertise in budgeting processes and annual standard cost analysis.

• Hands-on experience with CRM systems.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles related to inventory costing, accruals, and fixed asset capitalization.

• Proven ability to develop financial models and conduct strategic analyses to support business decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
