A well-respected boutique personal injury trial firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their dedicated legal team. About the Role:

As a Legal Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and confident managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced trial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Draft and format legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and trial binders

+ Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court filings (state and federal)

+ Coordinate depositions, expert meetings, and trial preparation

+ Maintain client communication and case updates with empathy and professionalism

+ Assist with e-filing and document management systems

+ Provide general administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in personal injury or civil litigation

+ Strong understanding of trial prep and litigation processes

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software

+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
