• Senior Director, Controller

    One of our reputable clients has reached out for a need for a full-time Senior Director, Controller with proven purchase price accounting and project accounting experience. The Senior Director, Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting and internal controls. This executive leadership role will play a key part in driving financial integrity, compliance, and process improvement, develop revenue generating financial models and forecast techniques, assist with budget planning, and advise management on implementing an improved planning and reporting process. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, strong managerial skills, and experience leading accounting functions in a dynamic business environment.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures

    • Lead, mentor and manage accounting team

    • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports

    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes

    • Ensure timely processing of client invoices and cash collections

    • Assist with integrating acquisitions into ERP system

    • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local financial regulations and tax filings

    • Implement and improve accounting systems, processes and tools to enhance financial reporting

    Requirements

    The ideal Senior Director, Controller will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.

    Other requirements for the Senior Director, Controller role include and are not limited to:

    • CPA preferred

    • 10+ years progressive accounting experience

    • Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP)

    • NetSuite experience, or similar, preferred

    • Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills
