Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to oversee and maintain the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. Based in Davenport, Iowa, this role is integral to ensuring seamless system operations and supporting organizational growth through technology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in server management, troubleshooting, and implementing robust security measures. Interested? Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain both physical and virtual servers to ensure high performance and continuous availability.

• Monitor and resolve system and network issues to prevent downtime and enhance reliability.

• Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access control systems.

• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups to safeguard data and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Plan, test, and execute system upgrades and migrations to improve infrastructure capabilities.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and incident resolutions.

• Collaborate with various departments to address IT infrastructure needs and provide technical support.

• Assess and recommend hardware and software solutions to optimize system performance and scalability.

• Ensure adherence to both internal IT policies and external regulations to maintain compliance.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or a related IT field.

• Proficiency in Cisco, Citrix, and Dell Technologies.

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based solutions and virtualization platforms such as VMware.

• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies and implementing security measures.

• Expertise in Active Directory management and backup technologies.

• Familiarity with AB testing and cluster analysis methodologies.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
