    Description Job Description: Payroll Systems Analyst – Workforce Central (UKG)

     

    Position Start Date: July 2025

    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Systems Analyst with expertise in UKG’s Workforce Central (WFC) platform to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector. This position focuses on managing and supporting the Kronos Workforce Central system across our organization, ensuring compliance with payroll policies, streamlining scheduling processes, and resolving time and attendance-related issues.

    Key Responsibilities:

    System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain new and existing pay policies in UKG’s Workforce Central platform to ensure compliance with standard payroll procedures and organizational policies.

     

    Compliance Audits: Perform 80+ payroll audits during each pay period to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to established pay policies.

     

    Issue Resolution and Support: Manage inquiries from the workforce through the support inbox, addressing scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance-related issues promptly.

     

    Historical Corrections: Process historical corrections related to leave of absence cases and other payroll matters.

     

    Process Optimization: Actively identify opportunities to improve payroll systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and user experience.

     

    Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and finance, to support system-wide payroll operations and workforce scheduling strategies.

    Focus on:

    Healthcare pay practices & scheduling – top priority.

     

    Configuration for UKG can be trained but must know nursing workforce.

     

    Issues: inconsistent dept-level scheduling, manual processes, role overlaps, and limited system flexibility.

     

    Team needs someone to manage workflow inbox, potentially own trainings, and reduce back-and-forth communication.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience working with UKG Workforce Central (WFC) platform. (Source: DFST2025 - Midyear Update.pdf)

     

    Healthcare payroll/workforce management experience strongly preferred.

     

    Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience is preferred, showcasing an ability to lead projects and mentor team members effectively.

     

    Technical Expertise: Strong analytical and technical skills with an aptitude for systems configuration and troubleshooting.

     

    Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to successfully conduct compliance audits and manage system corrections.

    Top Skills:

    Deep understanding of UKG's Workforce Central (WFC) platform.

     

    Practical experience with healthcare payroll and workforce management.

     

    Demonstrated leadership or project management skills.
