Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to join a manufacturing organization in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will handle high-volume invoice processing, ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts, and maintain organized financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review approximately 200 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Verify purchase orders and electronically approve invoices for payment.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Generate financial reports as requested by the Vice President of Finance.

• Maintain proper filing and storage of accounts payable records for easy access.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline invoice processing workflows.

• Monitor and manage automated payment systems to ensure efficiency.

• Assist with coding invoices and data entry as part of regular operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Proficiency in invoice processing and account reconciliation.

• Strong skills in coding invoices and data entry.

• Familiarity with automated payment systems and workflows.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to generate financial reports and analyze data.

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of accounts payable best practices and procedures.
