Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Windsor, Connecticut, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring business needs align with technical solutions. The ideal candidate thrives on collaborating with diverse teams, enjoys diving deep into business processes, and is skilled in using documentation tools like process flow diagrams.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, user stories, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into actionable system designs and solutions.
• Lead workshops and interviews to gather insights and ensure alignment between business goals and IT capabilities.
• Support stakeholders in developing business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and strategic roadmaps.
• Participate in testing phases by reviewing test scenarios and validating that solutions meet defined requirements.
• Act as a primary point of contact between business users and IT teams to ensure clear communication and project success.
• Provide regular updates, presentations, and demonstrations to stakeholders to review progress and proposed solutions.
• Manage document repositories to ensure accurate and up-to-date project records are maintained.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on process analysis and documentation.
• Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, user stories, and other business documentation tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Scrum for project management.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques to support decision-making.
• Experience with CRM systems, cloud technologies, or SAP R/3 is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
