Description

We are partnering with a respected plaintiff law firm seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to join their team in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting Attorneys and providing exceptional service to injured workers navigating the legal process.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Case Management: Handle and maintain a high-volume caseload while providing consistent and robust support to the Attorney(s).

+ Client Relations: Serve as the liaison between clients and Attorneys, keeping clients informed with empathy and professionalism.

+ Scheduling: Coordinate client visits, calls, and other scheduling needs.

+ Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, addressing concerns and prioritizing responsiveness.

+ Escalations: Promptly relay urgent or escalated matters to the Attorney(s).

+ Check Processing: Manage the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing client checks.

+ Task Execution: Efficiently complete assignments, tasks, and follow-ups to ensure progress on every case.

+ Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by Attorney(s) or leadership team.

Requirements

+ Proven experience in workers’ compensation.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.

+ Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
