    DESCRIPTION

    Position at JBS USA Food Company

    Ground Beef B-Shift Production Supervisor

    + Manage and supervise hourly employees

    + Responsible for the motivation and safety of those employees

    + Prepare pre-operational paperwork

    + Ensure area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needs

    + Coachand develop employees to obtain results

    + Responsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost and employee retention

    + Maintains good working relationships with the Union, USDA and Maintenance employees

    Requirements:

    + Two years’ supervisory experience preferred in a food manufacturing/meat processing setting preferred

    + Ability to work a Monday through Friday including weekends when needed

    + Ability to work a second shift

    + Ability to work in a cold fast paced environment

    + Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Computer skills
