Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Lead Application Engineer with in-depth expertise in Java, CI/CD, Cloud, and database technologies. This role requires a strong background in Database management, DevOps practices, Middleware Engineering, and Scripting languages to drive efficiency, scalability, and security across our applications. The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer with excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for automation, and a strong ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, develop, Debug, Automate, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar tools
+ Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless development, deployment, and integration processes
+ Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability
+ Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, and cost optimization
+ Drive observability by integrating logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, New Relic, Dynatrace, CloudWatch)
+ Manage Tools and 3rd party components like Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Redis, Elastic etc
+ Drive database design, implement stored procedures using PL/SQL and support database code.
+ Drive security incident management and response in development tools, cloud environments and CICD pipelines
+ Partner with development, SRE, and InfoSec teams to improve system reliability and performance
+ Mentor junior engineers and drive database best practices across teams
+ Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Jira, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins etc.
+ Experience in JSON, XML
+ Experience in Java Middleware technologies, including Java Web Services or Go Lang, Python, or Shell scripting.
+ Expertise in automating application deployment and scaling

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Educational Qualification
+ Engineering / Master's in Information, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Security and Compliance
+ **Experience with security best practices** in cloud and containerized environments for database and Java applications
**General Skills: Proficiency** in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Bash) for automation
+ Hands-on development experience in Go/NodeJS is a plus
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) is a plus
+ Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Dynatrace
Certifications:
+ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
