    Join our team as a Specimen Management Lead. In the Specimen Management Lead role you will:

     

    + A front-line leadership position responsible for the day to day oversight of specimen management operations and associates on assigned shift.

    + Responsible for collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined by site.

    + Provides a high level of customer service for lab inquiries, test requirements, and other laboratory information.

    + Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills.

    + Serves as a liaison with other laboratory departments and hospital services.

    Qualifications:

    In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    + One year of phlebotomy work experience required

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

    + Phlebotomy certification, such as PBT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire

     

    Schedule: M-F either 7am to 3:30pm or 9am to 5:30pm.

     

    Locations are variable as we have multiple. There is the Medical Office Building at the main hospital, Aztec, Bayfield, and Horse Gulch.

    Physical Requirements:

    Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
