CNOS is seeking candidates for their position at Fort Dodge Senior High School.
This candidate will provide preventative care, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. He/she will supervise the daily operation of the athletic training room to ensure smooth operation of the treatment and care of the student athletes. Works with athletes to rehab injuries and provide a plan for getting athletes back to game-ready status. Prepares athletes for practices and games by taping and wrapping and helping with modalities needed before the athlete participates. Provides coverage of games where necessary and works with athletes when any injuries arise during game play. Documenting injury notes and communicating with CNOS physicians on the care of student athletes.
Candidate will also have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience within the multiple ancillary services that CNOS provides, such as Sports Performance, Athletic Training coverage of area special events and outreach high schools, as well as our Orthopaedic Urgent Care.
