Job Overview
As a Development Lead and Product Specialist, you will lead the design and development of IQVIA’s DaaS platforms, which deliver curated, real-time healthcare data to clients through flexible, cloud-native architectures. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that support advanced analytics, AI/ML applications, and operational efficiency.
You’ll guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices in software engineering, data governance, and agile delivery. You’ll also act as a product expert—troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and continuously enhancing the platform’s capabilities. This role reports to the Director of Data Solutions and operates within a collaborative, innovation-driven environment

Qualifications
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), APIs, data pipelines, and modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL). Familiarity with DaaS, SaaS, or data integration platforms is a plus.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Skilled in diagnosing complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing scalable solutions.
• Innovation & Agility: Passion for emerging technologies and continuous improvement in data delivery and architecture.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/work experience.
10–12 years of experience in IT management, solution architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure DaaS architectures.
Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native technologies.
Experience with job schedulers such as Automic and Cybermation.
Proficiency with databases including MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift.
Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity management, access control, and compliance.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $108,800.00 - $181,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
