    The Role

     

    The Electrical Engineering Technician (EET) assists the New Product Development (NPD) electrical engineering team with the design and development of new and existing lithium-ion battery and charger/power system designs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Testing: Set up equipment and test products to evaluate performance under the direction of the Electrical Engineering team.

    + Inspection: Inspect designs and finished products for quality control and compliance with regulations.

    + Repair: Build, calibrate, and repair electrical instruments and testing equipment.

    + Analysis: Analyze test information to resolve design problems.

    + Documentation: Report findings and make recommendations.

    + Estimates: Prepare quantity and cost estimates for electrical and electronic work.

    What You Bring:

    + A.A.S. in an Electrical or Computer Engineering field required or equivalent work experience in electrical engineering field.

    + 2 years minimum experience with electronic test and troubleshooting.

    + Candidate EETs should have a working knowledge of/and experience with printed circuit board level testing/troubleshooting with typical electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, electronic loads, etc.).

    + Attention to detail, logical reasoning, analytical skills, and communication are a must.
