    Salary: $3256 / Week

     

    The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technicalactivities associated with the performance of screening and diagnosticmammography procedures. The MammographyTechnologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breasttissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detectbreast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment andsurvival.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current State License or Certificate in state where theywill be working

    + One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Total Weekly Gross (40 hrs): $3,256/week

    + Untaxed Housing Stipend: $896/week

    + Untaxed Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $560/week

    + Hourly Rate (Taxable): $45/hour

    + Overtime Rate: $67.50/hour

    + All stipends are compliant with GSA guidelines and IRS tax-free requirements for travelers.

    + Advanced digital mammography and diagnostic imaging equipment

    ? Requirements:

    + Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Tech

    + ARRT certification in Mammography [ARRT (M)] required

    + Active Washington Radiologic Technologist license required (Takes approximately 3–4 weeks to obtain if not already in hand)

    + BLS certification required

    + Strong attention to detail and compassionate patient care skills
