Senior Accountant, Research Grants

Account for federal, state, and private research grants and contracts, and other designated funds so that grants and contracts are managed in accordance with grantor and contractor requirements, and support Seattle Children's mission as a health care delivery system.
This position will be responsible for creating operational activities, accounting entries, reconciliations as well as month end close entries to support research operations. These functions help support the Principal Investigators in their overall portfolio and to support the grants.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years accounting experience, to include grant/contract accounting experience.
Required Credentials
N/A.
Preferred
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
Healthcare accounting experience; non-profit accounting experience.
Lawson ERP proficiency.
Compensation Range
$86,609.00 - $129,913.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
