A rapidly expanding healthcare services organization is seeking an experienced Insurance Reporting Specialist to join its corporate team. Position Summary
This is a key role on the risk and insurance team, responsible for managing liability claims data, producing detailed reports, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and well-versed in insurance reporting processes, especially in GL, PL, and EPL areas.
Key Responsibilities
+ Track and report General Liability (GL), Professional Liability (PL), and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims
+ Maintain accurate claims databases and manage related communications
+ Coordinate with insurance carriers and brokers to ensure up-to-date claims information
+ Generate monthly and ad hoc reports on claim status, spending, and trends
+ Use Legal Tracker extensively for documentation and reporting
+ Perform data audits to ensure compliance with reporting standards
+ Analyze claims data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
+ Proactively identify process improvements and ensure reporting accuracy
+ Operate primarily on-site, requiring strong self-direction and independence
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
+ 3–5 years of experience handling insurance claims, preferably in insurance defense
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables
+ Hands-on experience with claims management and insurance reporting workflows
+ Familiarity with legal and claims systems, particularly Legal Tracker
Preferred Qualifications
+ Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
+ Familiarity with Legal Tracker or comparable claims/legal tracking systems
+ Skilled at translating complex data into clear, actionable reports for legal, finance, and operations teams
