A Typical Day

The Engineering Team Manager, Digital Reporting and Finance will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines as well as proprietary FinOps applications/infrastructure that deliver high-quality data to analysts, finance teams, technology groups, and senior management for financial and operational reporting and analysis.

+ Manage team of developers to maximize the value delivered to the business

+ Hands on role; must be proficient in SQL and Python (5 - 7 years experience)

+ Hands-on experience with AWS.

+ Experience with ETL tools and orchestration frameworks.

+ Create and maintain the data pipelines essential for analyzing financial performance, optimizing cloud costs, and tracking operational metrics.

+ Deliver accurate, dependable datasets to fuel dashboards, forecast models, and crucial business insights.

+ Ensure quality of programs by evaluating solutions for efficiency, scalability and flexibility

+ Take an active role in mentoring and training team members

+ Routinely identify and drive process improvements

+ Ensure solutions produced are operating as expected

+ Participate in and lead code-review sessions to identify potential problems and/or alternative solutions

+ Lead the development and implementation of technical coding standards

+ Perform other related duties as required and assigned

+ Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

What You’ll Bring

+ Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive

+ Team player with strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently

+ BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in the field

+ 5+ years of relevant experience in software development

+ 5+ years using Python or client side coding technologies

+ 3+ years of experience in the AWS stack

+ 3+ years of experience in new application development/ architecture in a technical capacity (developer/ architect)

+ Proven experience with server-less technologies

+ Proven experience with Python machine learning libraries (i.e. scikit-learn)

+ Demonstrated understanding of entire development cycle, from concept to deployment and monitoring

+ Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and mathematical skills, using sound judgment

+ Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

$95,000 - $155,000
