    Our best-in-class Logistics Product Management team is a dynamic, cross-functional group of technology innovators responsible for the P&L of some of the most trusted and industry-leading SaaS solutions leveraged by our customers across Rail and Ports. Here, you will thrive on the daily customer interactions and also have the opportunity to define and lead the next-generation platform services for these digital products.

     

    How will you make a difference?

     

    As a member of the Digital Intelligence Logistics Product Management, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and management of our digital platform services as well as customer-facing shipper products. As the product manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of these products. You will define, develop and maintain the vision, strategy and roadmap while collaborating with other product managers, engineering, TPMs, and other functional groups to execute the product strategy across the businesses, partners and customers.

     

    You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological ecosystem by managing product platform, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring our solutions meet evolving market demands. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative, customer-centric digital solutions that transform rail operations and create significant business value.

     

    What do we want to know about you?

     

    + Degree Requirements: Bachelor's Degree

    + Minimum Years of Experience: 5

    + Strong understanding of digital platform development and cloud technologies

    + Proficiency in agile product development methodologies

    + Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

    + Technical aptitude with basic software architecture understanding

    + Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills

    + Strong customer centric mindset and adaptability towards continuous learning

    + Analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities, experience in business case development

    Desired:

    + Experience in transportation, logistics, or enterprise software preferred

    + Familiarity with modern software development practices

    + Previous experience with platform product management or as a product manager/ product owner

    + Familiarity with RailConnect product suite is a plus

    + Experience with product management tools (Rally, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)

    + Product Management certifications like Pragmatic Certified Product Manager, SAFe POPM and APM certifications a plus

    + Education in: Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Business Management, Logistics or related field preferred. MBA or advanced degree a plus

     

    What will your typical day look like?

     

    + As a domain expert for the Logistics platform services, you will define, develop and maintain the vision, strategy and roadmap for platform services and shipper products

    + Will conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs and define clear product requirements

    + Will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer personas, continuously groom the backlog and prioritize features and capabilities

    + Lead discovery sessions both internally and externally, gather feedback on a periodic basis and incorporate into product strategy

    + Will engage at technical levels to drive the success of platform services

    + Identify and measure product performance metrics, analyze market competitiveness and be responsible for overall success of the platform/ products

    + Will work closely with engineering, design, commercial, architecture and PMO teams

    + Conduct regular product performance reviews and market competitiveness assessments

    + Facilitate communication and alignment across different organizational units

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders

    + This role may also assist in initial discovery and evaluating new opportunities from time to time including business case development, market analysis, build and test value hypotheses etc.

     

    What about the physical demands of the job?

    Travel and Availability:

    + Up to 20% travel for customer meetings, industry conferences, and internal workshops

    + Willingness to engage with global teams and customers, conduct market discoveries and visit sites that need wearing PPE

     

    You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

    Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between

     

    $89,100.00-$126,900.00

     

    The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com . Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
