The Impact You Will Have:

The **Senior** **Manager,** **Information Security Cloud and Applications Engineering,** is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of information security engineers to ensure the protection of our organization’s information systems and data. This role leads the continuous development of people, processes, and technologies required for the implementation of security measures to safeguard against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as experience managing a team of security professionals.

What You Will Do:

+ Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and plans.

+ Manage access controls and permissions for cloud accounts and applications

+ Oversee the design, implementation, and management of security solutions for cloud and application environments

+ Ensure compliance with QTS Security standards, regulatory requirements and industry standards

+ Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements

+ Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into all cloud-based solutions

+ Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats

+ Lead incident response efforts and investigations in the event of a security breach

+ Provide guidance and training to employees on best practices for cloud security

+ Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in cloud security to adapt and modify security strategies as necessary

What You Need to be Successful:

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

+ Professional information security certification (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) is preferred.

+ Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Based in Suwanee, GA. 10% Travel required.

+ Experience with cloud security, security analytics platforms, and incident response infrastructure.

+ Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to information security is a plus.

+ US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

+ Ability to translate technical security threats into business risks and strategies.

+ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent organization, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and teamwork skills.

+ Excellent coordination skills between multiple stakeholders, third-party contractors, consultants, and clients.

+ Ability to maintain positive relationships and communication with staff, management, and customers.
