Training & Development Officer

**Location:** Franklin Park, IL - travel to various client locations.

**Rate:** $32.00/Hour

**Shift:** Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information. As Training and Development Officer you coordinate and deliver training programs for Security Officers and other employees. Acts to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training requirements. Distinguishing Characteristics: Primary job function is training security personnel.

What Your Day May Look Like:

+ Conflict resolution and De-escalation.

+ Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.

+ Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

+ Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.

+ Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.

+ Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements:

+ 18 years of age or older.

+ High School Diploma or GED Required.

+ 3+ years of training experience.

+ Relevant experience in Security training, Military or Law enforcement.

+ Proven ability to lead, build, and motivate a high-performing, cohesive team in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong decision-making and independent judgment skills, especially under pressure or during emergency situations.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and security-related information clearly across all levels of an organization.

+ Adept at problem-solving and resolving conflicts while maintaining professionalism and composure.

+ Skilled in overseeing compliance, audits, and operational procedures to ensure site safety and regulatory adherence.

+ Tech-savvy with the capability to maintain, troubleshoot, and oversee site systems and technologies.

+ Committed to delivering exceptional service with a client-focused mindset and strong ethical standards.
