    PRN/Contingent Position - Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm, weekends only as needed

    **JOB SUMMARY** Works as part of a team to complete accurate insurance billing and bookkeeping functions vital to the management of the MercyOne North Iowa Outpatient Pharmacies.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    Education [formal]:

    1-A high school diploma or equivalent is required

     

    2-National Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred

     

    3-Accounting, finance, or business degree/education preferred

    Experience:

    1. Retail or Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred

    2. Retail or Long Term Care billing experience is preferred

    3. Background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping is preferred

    Special Skills and Competencies:

    Strong customer service skills

     

    Proficient in mathematical and bookkeeping skills

     

    Must be detail oriented
