**JOB SUMMARY:** The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist maintains all standards of the IR area established by the Department of Radiology.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education [formal]:
Must be credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Must be credentialed in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology (CIT), Vascular Interventional (VI), or Cadiac Interventional (CI) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or willing to obtain within 2 years of employment.
Experience:
No experience is required, at least 1 year as diagnostic radiographer is preferred.
