Job Description

Insight Globals client is seeking a skilled Mainframe Endevor professional to manage and support software configuration and change management processes using CA Endevor. The ideal candidate will have experience in mainframe environments, strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, and expertise in version control and deployment automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Broadcom Endevor environments across development, QA, and production stages.

Manage software elements including adding, updating, moving, and deleting components.

Develop and maintain Software Control Language (SCL) scripts for batch processing.

Support developers and QA teams in promoting code through various lifecycle stages.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Endevor processes and integrations.

Ensure compliance with change management policies and audit requirements.

Participate in Product Upgrades.

Participate in emergency code fix procedures and production deployments.

Document procedures, configurations, and best practices

Participate in on-call rotation and some weekends

Skills and Requirements

(4-5 ) Years of Experience - IBM Mainframe Developer Experience

Experience in COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS, TSO ISPF, FILEAID, REXX, CLIST

Coding, Testing, Deployment of Cobol/Rexx/Assembler in Mainframe Platform is mandatory

Participation in Internal/External Audit

Experience as Developer in Endevor

VSAM file management using FileAid.

SDSF analysis skills.

Experience with any job scheduler like CA-7 or OPC, Abend Aid is mandatory Change/Incident management through Service now is preferred.

Production support experience working on SLA level 2,3,4 is preferred null
