Our client, a leader in financial services, is seeking a Lead AI Cloud Engineer to join their team. As a Lead AI Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for technology which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Lead AI Cloud Engineer

**Location:** Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

+ Lead the design and development of backend systems using Python and Java, focusing on integrating AI/ML capabilities.

+ Architect and implement machine learning pipelines, model training workflows, and inference services.

+ Collaborate with data scientists to productionize models and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

+ Mentor and guide engineers in AI best practices, software design, and clean coding principles.

+ Drive adoption of MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and continuous deployment.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

+ 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

+ Proficiency in Python and Java, with experience in building scalable backend systems.

+ Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

+ Experience deploying ML models in production environments (e.g., REST APIs, batch jobs).
