Description
As a Senior HR Business Partner at AWS, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, and cultural initiatives across Annapurna Labs and the Center for Quantum Computing business units. This role requires deep HR expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence at executive levels.
Key job responsibilities
-Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives
-Lead complex organizational design initiatives and change management programs
-Drive talent management strategies including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management
-Provide strategic consultation on employee relations, compensation, and organizational effectiveness
-Analyze workforce metrics and trends to provide data-driven recommendations
-Design and implement scalable HR solutions for rapid business growth
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- Proven experience partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of energy
-Experience working with high performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
- Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
- Willingness and ability to both be hands on with all levels of the organization as well as serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and goals into optimal HR processes that are scalable, simple, customer-focused and adaptable to unique and changing business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in HR, MBA, or related field
- Global HR experience
- Technology industry experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
