Senior Front-End developer (React)

**Location:** Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Job Summary

Cognizant Digital Engineering is looking for a highly skilled Sr. Front End developer, self-motivated, with extensive experience in React, JavaScript/Typescript, who can help design build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. We’re looking for a collaborative team member who values continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and delivering high-quality enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and maintain custom web-applications using React.

• Participate in requirements gathering, wireframing and design discussions.

• Collaborate with back end and Devops engineers to integrate with AWS.

• Create and maintain automated tests integrated into CICD pipelines.

• Build various reusable UI components.

• Create user-friendly dashboards for PI support team.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science\Computer Information Systems or 7 years of applicable development experience.

• Extensive experience developing with React (7+years)

• Extensive experience with JavaScript/Typescript (7+ years)

• Experience in integrating front-end applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

• Strong experience with HTML/CSS, Git and git-flow methodologies for version/source control.

• 3-4 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.

• 3-4 years of experience with automated testing tools (qTest, Selenium, Cypress)

• Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile and JIRA.

• Experience with AWS SSM, IAM, SQS

• Experience with AWS SDK

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).

• Strong knowledge and understanding usage of REST APIs.

The annual salary for this position is between $78,500 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
