Human Resources Manager

We are recruiting a **Human Resources Manager** on behalf of a client in Essex County, New Jersey. This is full time, permanent position with an onsite work model.
**Responsibilities for the Human Resources Manager include but not limited to** :
+ Provide day-to-day HR support across payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
+ Partner with leadership to plan and implement organizational changes while ensuring confidentiality.
+ Maintain and update personnel records, including performance, disciplinary actions, and employee status changes.
+ Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and benefits enrollment.
+ Support recruiting efforts including posting job ads, reviewing applications, and maintaining applicant tracking.
+ Administer leave programs, workers’ comp, and return-to-work processes.
+ Process payroll changes and assist with payroll administration.
+ Assist with company-wide events, training initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
+ Respond to employee inquiries and offer thoughtful HR solutions.
+ Conduct exit interviews and coordinate termination procedures.
+ Stay informed on current HR best practices and compliance updates.
Qualifications include but not limited to:
+ Bilingual Spanish
+ 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, including exposure to payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment.
+ Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
+ Proficient with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and strong organizational skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
+ Previous experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial workforce is a plus.
Compensation:
Salary up to $90,000/year
