    Job Description:

    Are you an **Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)** specializing in psychiatry? Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is looking for a talented individual to join our outpatient Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine Division at our Peabody location.

    What You'll Do:

    + As an integral part of our team, you'll be responsible for:

    + Diagnostic evaluation of outpatients.

    + Developing individualized treatment plans for patients' psychiatric and psychotherapeutic needs.

    + Utilizing pharmacologic medication management and psychotherapy interventions.

    + Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors.

    + Caring for patients who receive complex, coordinated medical and surgical care in an ambulatory setting within a large academic medical center.

    + Opportunities to participate in the education and training of other RNs, APRNs, medical students, and trainees. Academic appointments are available.

    Qualifications:

    + **Education:** Graduate of a Master's Program in Nursing.

    + **Certification:** ANCC certification in psychiatric and mental health nursing as a nurse practitioner.

    + **Licensure:** Completion of appropriate psychopharmacology courses and current prescriptive authority in Massachusetts.
