Description
Plans, oversees, and supports multiple radar engineering tasks, such as Control Systems, Microwave Engineering, Antenna Theory, Signal Processing, Communications, and Computer. Researches, designs, develops, manufactures, tests, installs, integrates, sustains, operates, and maintains diverse software, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and systems Performs, normally as a lead of a development, sustainment, or operations and maintenance team, a range of design, development, analysis, or review tasks on more complex radar engineering assignments Generates complete design specifications, analyses, and design reviews for more complex projects; and leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements Develops and documents complex electronic and electrical system requirements, working with customers; and analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications Coordinates and works closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements Prepares, delivers, and submits technical papers and performs engineering studies Supports development of technical proposals and provides comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work Writes and manages system and software requirements according to customer specifications; develops, maintains, and produces technical documentation and system specifications, conforming to company engineering standards and contract requirements; and verifies and complies with engineering documentation standards and test procedures Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs, and makes recommendations for technology investments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance 2. BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a similar field and 10+ years of related experience in radar system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, and data analysis OR MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a similar field and 7+ years of related experience in radar system design, development, engineering, test, evaluation, and data analysis 3. Experience/Expertise in traditional Systems Engineering processes, including requirements analysis, architecture development, trade studies, and risk management 4. Experience in writing technical reports, creating technical drawings, requirements documentation, system developmental schedules, and performance specifications, and in presenting to management and customers 5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; strong interpersonal, and organizational skills; strong written, and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments 2. Experience in conducting technical training and mentoring in workplace environment 3. Experience in performing analysis and algorithm development using MATLAB, C/C++, or Python

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.
