Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

+ Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery

+ Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality

+ Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt

+ Guides the team on work breakdown and execution

+ Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria

+ Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team

+ Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices

+ Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements

+ Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle

+ Automates manual release activities; Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Job Summary:

The **Global Risk Analytics Technology** team is looking for a **Python Framework Developer – Software Engineer III** . As a Developer, you will work closely with business and technology partners to deliver python API which support platform development, management and onboarding of Risk Models on a distributed platform. Candidates must possess advanced problem-solving skills, the willingness to learn and ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format. You must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently.

Required Qualifications:

+ **8 Years minimum experience in Software Development role.**

+ **3 years minimum experience in leading a team working on complex projects.**

+ **5 years expertise in functional and object-oriented programming, specifically in Python.**

+ 5 years experience in databases(relational/document/etc.)including NoSQL databases.

+ Strong in Algorithms and Data Structures.

+ Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as robust micro services.

+ Experience in writing unit tests in **pytest** or **unittest**

+ Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation

+ Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

+ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning and problem solving

Desired Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Math

+ Prior experience in framework development using python or platform development

+ Strong in Object-Oriented principles
