Position Overview:

Delivers pharmaceutical care through the provision of patient-centered clinical service, medication information, education, medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe, effective, and cost efficient medication therapy.

**Job Description** :

EDUCATION

_Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

+ Other: Graduate from a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education.

+ Doctorate: PharmD and Post Graduate Residency are desirable.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

+ Previous experience in an appropriate setting (e.g. as a hospital/acute care pharmacist or outpatient/long term care) is desired.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

+ Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, delegation skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

+ Must be able to work in a complex and dynamic environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations.

+ Must be able to communicate in an effective, tactful and diplomatic manner.

+ Must have teamwork and delegation skills.

+ Must have the skills to produce accurate work results within established timeframes.

+ Ability to communicate verbally and be understood in person or on the telephone.

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

+ Possesses visual and auditory acuity, as well as manual dexterity.

Pay Range is $90.97 to $100.06 / hour

_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package._
