As aGenAILead Cloud Architect, you will be a pivotal leader, working closely with product management, engineering teams, and customers to define, architect, and deliver groundbreaking software features, specifically within the Generative AI space. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cloud offering andGenAIStrategy.

    What You'll Do at Pega:

    + Create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring functionality and seamless integration of GenAI solutions with existing systems.

    + Partner with product management to define, architect, prioritize, and deliver new software and infrastructure features, emphasizing Generative AI capabilities.

    + Generate conceptual/logical architectures and conduct risk assessments for cloud-based GenAI deployments.

    + Evaluate new and emerging technologies, especially in the GenAI and cloud space, determining their applicability to current and future projects.

    + Provide architectural oversight, guidance, and share best practices with development teams working on product features.

    + Conduct proof of concepts of emerging solutions and architecture concepts.

    + A technical thought leader capable of clearly explaining complex business and technical topics related to GenAI to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    + A strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to engage successfully with internal teams, external customers, senior executives, and market influencers.

    + An individual who can rapidly pick up new skills and is passionate about software development and adopting new technologies, particularly in the GenAI domain.

    What You've Accomplished:

    + Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.

    + 8+ years of experience, 4+ years specifically as a Software Architect designing software solutions.

    + Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing Large Language Models (LLMs), with deep knowledge of GenAI deployment considerations and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.

    + Advanced proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including AI/ML services, infrastructure, and secure deployment of GenAI applications.

    + Skilled in Kubernetes-based microservice architectures, containerized GenAI workloads, and chunking strategies for data processing.

    + Experienced in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector databases, and familiar with prompt engineering, versioning tools, and GenAI-specific evaluation metrics.

    + Adept at integrating AI agent frameworks into complex workflows, applying security best practices, and rapidly prototyping in GenAI environments (“vibe coding”).
