Allegiant Stadium
Located adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and home to the Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium is an award-winning global events destination. A state-of-the-art, multipurpose venue with a capacity of 65,000, Allegiant Stadium has hosted world-class music artists such as Garth Brooks, The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, Illenium and BTS with more legendary concerts to come. The fully enclosed stadium is also home to the UNLV Rebels football team and has hosted premier sporting events such as the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, Pac-12 Championship Game, Las Vegas Bowl, and WWE SummerSlam. Job Summary
The Production Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of all audio and video systems within the stadium. This role ensures that all audio-video technology equipment, including sound systems, displays, cameras, and recording equipment, are functioning optimally to provide high-quality audio and visual experiences during events. The manager collaborates with various departments to meet their audio and video needs, oversees technical support during events, and stays abreast of emerging technologies to enhance the stadium's audio and video capabilities. The role will be involved managing event conversions and changeovers for a variety of events, such as sports, concerts, and corporate functions. This includes the planning, coordination, and execution of the technical elements, working closely with clients, internal departments, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
Essential Functions
+ Installation and Setup: Oversee the installation and setup of audio and video equipment, ensuring proper configuration and functionality. System Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of audio and video systems to ensure optimal performance. Equipment Upgrades: Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and replacements to maintain cutting-edge technology and enhance the fan experience. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of audio and video equipment, tracking usage, repairs, and replacements as needed.
+ Technical Support: Provide technical support during events, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio and video systems. Collaboration: Work closely with event organizers, production teams, and other stakeholders to fulfill audio and video requirements for each event. Quality Control: Ensure the quality and reliability of audio and video systems during events, adjusting as needed to optimize performance.
+ Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of audiovisual technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective operation of audio and video systems. Training: Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in audio and video technology.
+ Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with audio and video equipment vendors, ensuring timely delivery of products and services and negotiating favorable contracts. Service Agreements: Coordinate service agreements with vendors for ongoing maintenance and support of audio and video systems.
+ Technology Evaluation: Stay informed about emerging audio and video technologies, evaluating their potential for implementation in the stadium. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency in audio and video operations.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for audio and video equipment and operations. Safety Measures: Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment during installation, operation, and maintenance activities.
+ Develop and manage budgets related to production technology which includes the planning, coordination, and execution of technical elements, working closely with clients, internal departments, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
