    Facts about Baptist Pulmonary/Critical Care Group – Oxford, MS

     

    + No critical care all required – physician would perform procedures in hospital and see patients in clinic setting

    + Will perform navigational bronchoscopies with biopsy, thoracoscopy and EBUS

    + Group will open lung nodule clinic to follow up on these patients

    + 4 physicians currently – one is sleep certified

    + 1 NP to assist with hospital rounds – looking to add an additional one soon

    + 24 bed ICU, hospitalists in house 24/7

    + E ICU for overnight and weekend patient coverage

    + Work out of one hospital – Baptist North Mississippi – 217 beds

    + See patients from 12 surrounding counties

    + 10-year-old hospital, full spectrum of specialties, full time hospitalists in house

    + Very busy oncologists nearby with great need for lung nodule patient appointments

    + Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
