    Position Overview

    We are looking for a data engineer to join our team at DIA.

    Responsibilities

    Designs, implements, and operates data management systems for intelligence needs. Designs and optimizes data systems.

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience utilizing programming languages for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data analysis, or data modeling

    + 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores and big data models

    + 3+ years of experience developing in Python

    + Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

    + Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms

    + Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam, #qinetiqclearedjob

    + Bachelor's degree

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience implementing code in an operational environment or for operational usage

    + Experience in application development utilizing PostgreSQL

    + Experience with Rust or Java

    + Experience with DevSecOps tools, including GitHub

    + Experience with a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

    + Experience working on real-time data

    + Experience with Agile engineering practices

    + An active CI polygraph
