Position Summary:
Reporting to theDirector of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports, the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management will oversee all athletic facilities, equipment, and game/event management operations within the Athletics Department.
This position requires evening and weekend hours.
Essential Functions:
Directs organizes, and supervises the operations of all University athletic facilities.
Coordinates scheduling of all practices, games, outside rentals, and other events for all athletic facilities.
Oversees event management and game day administration for all home contests and events.
Responsible for set-up/breakdown of all game days and practices.
Promotes revenue generation through facility rentals and maintains facility budget.
Oversees all capital improvement projects.
Coordinates maintenance, monitors inventory, and performs building and equipment inspections.
Purchases equipment, materials, supplies, and services for facilities and works with vendors and suppliers for services.
Acts as liaison with the offices of public safety, facilities engineering & operations, and the custodial department.
Serves as athletics liaison with summer camp and clinic programs that are conducted by varsity coaches.
Serves as Director of Championships for hosting conference tournaments and NCAA post-season contests.
Complies with all NCAA , Conference, and University rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in athletics facilities and event operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License.
Minimum Salary: $95,000
Maximum Salary: $105,400
