    Overview

     

    We are seeking a ER Stroke/Chest Pain - Coordinator.Chest Pain Center Coordinator / Stroke Center Coordinator is responsible and accountable directly to the Quality Director.

     

    Employment Type:Full Time

     

    Shifts Available:Days

     

    Hours:8-hour

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement and community outreach.

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + Current and valid state RN License.

    + Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

    + A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment

    + Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.

    + Team approach to patient care.

    + Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.

    + Day and evening flexibility required.

     

    Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus

     

    + Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred
