Early Intervention TEACHER1. Qualifications:

+ Education

Minimum qualifications include:-NYS Teacher Certification in Special Education (Permanent or SWD B-2)-Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master's Degree in education or related field with associated course work in behavior analysis (applied, experimental and theoretical).2. Accountability:

+ To the Early Intervention Program Coordinator and Early Childhood Coordinator

+ Responsibilities:

? Providing service as indicated in the IFSP in accordance with the HF EI Teacher Handbook.. 5. General Responsibilities

+ Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations.

+ Ensures the safety and welfare of students.

+ Follows all facility policies and procedures.

+ Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

6. Physical Responsibilities

+ Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during work hours

+ Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position

+ Must possess sight and hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully met

+ Must function independently, have personal integrity, be flexible and able to work effectively with other personnel

+ Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability
